The One Wish Foundation exists to ease the burden on children fighting cancer and the families who love them — providing comfort, resources, and hope when it matters most.
How it started
The One Wish Foundation was born from a single moment of heartbreak and resolve. When our founder watched a close friend's child navigate the brutal reality of pediatric cancer — the hospital stays, the financial strain, the emotional toll — she knew something had to change.
In 2018, with a small group of volunteers and a shared belief that no family should face this journey alone, we opened our doors. What started as a local support network has grown into a foundation that has touched hundreds of lives across the country.
Every program we run, every dollar we raise, every volunteer hour given — it all comes back to one simple idea: that every child deserves a fighting chance, and every family deserves to feel supported.

Founder & Executive Director
Sarah founded the organization after witnessing firsthand the gap in support for pediatric cancer families. She brings 15 years of nonprofit leadership to the mission.
James Okafor
Director of Programs
James oversees all family support programs, ensuring every child and caregiver receives timely, meaningful assistance throughout their treatment journey.
Maria Reyes
Community Outreach Manager
Maria builds and maintains relationships with hospitals, schools, and local partners to expand the foundation's reach and impact.
