Our mission

One wish. Endless hope.

The One Wish Foundation exists to ease the burden on children fighting cancer and the families who love them — providing comfort, resources, and hope when it matters most.

How it started

The One Wish Foundation was born from a single moment of heartbreak and resolve. When our founder watched a close friend's child navigate the brutal reality of pediatric cancer — the hospital stays, the financial strain, the emotional toll — she knew something had to change.

In 2018, with a small group of volunteers and a shared belief that no family should face this journey alone, we opened our doors. What started as a local support network has grown into a foundation that has touched hundreds of lives across the country.

Every program we run, every dollar we raise, every volunteer hour given — it all comes back to one simple idea: that every child deserves a fighting chance, and every family deserves to feel supported.

What we stand for

Compassion first

We lead with empathy in everything we do — from how we design our programs to how we speak with families in crisis.

Radical transparency

We publish monthly impact reports and open our books to donors. You always know exactly where your money goes.

Community-powered

Our work is made possible by volunteers, local partners, and donors who believe in the mission as deeply as we do.

Child-centered care

Every decision we make is filtered through one question: does this make life better for the child and their family?
